New Jersey is part of Chain's regular service area. We design and install business networks, WiFi and the fiber that ties them together, for offices, retail, restaurants, warehouses and multi-tenant buildings.
The state packs a lot of building types close together: logistics warehouses, strip retail centers, multi-tenant office buildings and older downtown blocks. Each one needs a different plan. A strip center needs each tenant's network kept separate. A warehouse needs fiber out to closets across a long floor. An older building needs routes planned around walls that weren't built for cable.
Many older sites already have layers of old cable in the ceiling. We test what is there, reuse what passes, and pull out abandoned cable where we can reach it, as the electrical code calls for, so the ceiling doesn't fill up with dead runs.
In large warehouses, fiber links the main equipment room to wiring closets spread across the floor, and access points get mounted high enough to cover aisles without being blocked by racking. In retail and restaurants, registers, cameras and guest WiFi each get their own network, so a problem on one doesn't take down the others.
Multi-tenant buildings often share a riser and a building network room. We run backbone fiber with the right fire rating for the space, riser-rated in shafts and plenum-rated in air-handling ceilings, and label it so each tenant's strands are clear.
In New Jersey, locate requests go to New Jersey One Call, reached by dialing 811. State law requires notice at least three full business days before digging, not counting weekends and holidays. Once lines are marked, digging within two feet of a mark is done by hand.
Utilities mark their own lines only, so private lines need their own check. Near the shore, salt air is hard on outdoor hardware, so enclosures and entry points need to be sealed.
Every fiber strand gets a loss test with a light source and power meter, and copper runs are certification-tested. You get labeled enclosures and patch panels, the results and a map of what goes where.
Most network jobs touch more than one system. We also run certification-tested copper cabling, install security cameras and commercial audio, video and paging, and handle service and maintenance on systems already in place. Yes. Separate fiber strands, labeled patching and a network design that keeps each tenant's traffic apart are standard on shared buildings.
